We wanted to remind you that as a SuperForex customer, you can open an STP account in your local currency. We recently added six new local currencies to support our growing trading community in Africa:

  • TZS - Tanzanian shilling
  • KES - Kenyan shilling
  • GHS - Ghanaian cedi
  • UGX - Ugandan shilling
  • ZMW - Zambian kwacha
  • RWF - Rwandan franc

Benefits of Local Currencies

While we do offer accounts using the world’s major currencies as a base, there are many advantagesto choosing your local currency instead.

The main pros of local currencies are that managing your account’s fund will be faster and cheaper. You will not waste time and pay exchange fees to third-party payment systems each time you need to make a deposit or a withdrawal, for example. It will also be easy for you to calculate order costs and such when using the currency you are used to.

Plus, local currencies pair well with some of the regionally popular payment systems we have implemented to make moving money in and out of your account easier.

SuperForex offers accounts in more than 25 different local currencies, some of which are used in more than one country. You can view the full list of supported local currencies.
